Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Lobbify app and website. Short version: be decent to the people you play with, don't abuse the service, and understand this is early-stage software provided as-is.
What Lobbify is
Lobbify is a desktop app for hosting and joining multiplayer game lobbies — today, Minecraft (Java Edition). It's in active development and free to use while we build it. If paid options ever arrive, we'll announce them well ahead of time.
Your account
You need an account to host or join rooms. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and give us accurate information. You're responsible for what happens through your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use Lobbify to harass or harm others, distribute illegal content, interfere with the service or other players' connections, or abuse the connection relay. Room names, chat messages, and anything else you share must respect other users. We can remove content or close rooms that cross these lines.
Minecraft & third-party games
Playing online requires a Minecraft license from Microsoft/Mojang; signing in with your Microsoft account is how ownership is verified. Lobbify is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Mods and modpacks are downloaded from Modrinth and belong to their respective authors, under their own licenses.
Early-stage software, provided as-is
Lobbify is pre-release software. It's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind — things may break, change, or be unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected on this page with a new date up top; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
